Civil Rights and Dr. Seuss

Dr. Seuss wrote a book about the subject of civil rights.

It was about a race of beings on the beaches, called "Sneetches", some of which had "no stars on upon thars" and others did.

A "fixit up Chappy", named McBean, exchanged their money for a trip through a machine.

On for $3, and off for $10, the Sneetches were taken, again and again.

In the end they learned that it did not matter and discovered the need to be kind to each other.

We, as a society, need to learn this again. We need to learn to be kind, and not just to a friend.

Our equality is in danger, because of our fear. Our equality is about to be tossed on it's ear.

If you'd take just a moment, to give it some thought, you would realize yourself, that this matters not.

It's just more class warfare, applied by gentle force, by the people, for the people on the people, of course.

It's really up to you, the people who dare, to defeat this segregation, this evil class warfare.

From our candidate:

"This isn't a flood.
This is a virus with a 99+% SURVIVAL RATE which has generated an experimental vaccine that a chunk of the population doesn't wish to take and has been / is being threatened with force to do so.
The government has shown up to your house, carrying a boat, then, at gunpoint, has forced you onto the rooftop and is telling you that you have to jump into the boat, or they will shoot you.
Therein lies the problem: government has no business in your personal or business life.
The viral event of the past year and a half has been really rough on my family. We have gone through the pain and destruction of divorce and custody battle, have dealt with the months of isolation, the fiscal destruction and uncertainty, and have experienced contracting and surviving the virus itself.
Now, we have people who are insisting that a vaccine should be required to interact in the public.
Let's ignore that there's evidence that the same vaccines are part of the cause...
We are in a constant battle for equality and fought for decades to end segregation only to have a virus, which is typically survivable, become the reason to reestablish segregation."
